Monday, Aug. 30 – 70’s/Hippy Day (tie-dyed shirts, bell bottoms, peace clothes, etc.)
Tuesday, Aug. 31 – Hat and/or Western Day (any type of hat or Western clothing: boots, jeans, bandanas, vests, etc.)
Wednesday, Sept. 1 – Wacky/Opposite Day (clothes inside out, different shoes, etc.)
Thursday, Sept. 2 –Orange & White Day (TN attire or orange and white clothing)
Friday, Sept. 3 –Steekee Pride Day (Steekee clothes, GO GREEN - as much green as possible – be creative!)
Finally, each student will gather in the gym for the Fall Carnival Rally. Students will be given exciting information regarding ticket sales and prize incentives. Tickets and prize incentive newsletter will be going home Friday, September 3rd along with important Carnival information.


Mr. MacKintosh will host a Principal's Night In on Monday, September 13 at 6:00. Come early for a snack supper and then join together with other parents as we work to improve our school. Your input into school programs is crucial and will be incorporated into the School Improvement Plan. You will have a free supper, meet other parents, and brainstorm ideas. Child Care is provided.

Report Card Update
This school year, for grades 2-4, we are back to having grades on the report card. In response to parent surveys, report cards will continue to list state standards for each grading period, but a letter grade will also be assigned.
