Hello,

My name is Debra Jenkins, and this is my 17^th year of teaching (all of which has been here at Steekee Elementary School). I have taught first grade for eleven years; I love the on going challenge of teaching this age group! I have three children: Katelyn is 24 and works at Loudon County Animal Hospital; Rebecca is 19 and a sophomore at Roane State studying criminology; and Robbie is 12 at North Middle School. Also, I have a granddaughter, Audrey Mae, that will be one in October. I have been married 26 years to David Jenkins, and we have always lived in Lenoir City. I look forward to having another awesome year in first grade with your child!
