We hope everyone has a great (extended) break and that our Scouts are healthy and ready to get back to school for the final quarter of the 2025-2026 SY. Just a reminder: LAUNCH will be cancelled tomorrow ( Monday, 3/16) for parent teacher conferences. Don't forget to get your GREEN ready for Tuesday, March 17th. We'll celebrate being SCOUTs!! 💚

Unfortunately, because Loudon County Schools will be closed tomorrow due to illness, Grandparents Day at Steekee Elementary will be rescheduled. Happy Spring Break. 💚

Just a reminder: any medications (prescription and over-the-counter, including cough drops, aspirin, Tylenol, Advil, antacids, eye drops, ear drops, and vapor inhalers such as Vicks) must be brought to the school clinic and signed in with Nurse Claudia. Please do not send medications (prescription, over the counter - including cough drops, eye drops, ear drops) to school with your children. Also, if/when medications need to return home, they will need to be picked up and signed out by Nurse Claudia by a parent.

No announcements this morning so upper grades can get started on their CA right at 8:00 am.

In the Steekee gym, that is. Loudon County Maintenance is working hard on our heating issue in the gym. But, we are waiting for a part for a permanent remedy to the situation. I waited as long as possible before making a decision, but I think it's best to cancel our sing-a-long tomorrow. I am sorry that we won't be able to kick off the Christmas break with you. We will usher in the new year with fun family activities this winter. Merry Christmas and Happy 2026! Be safe and stay warm!

Everything is fine at Steekee Elementary school. We smelled gas in the gym/cafeteria and called emergency services to investigate the situation. We are all safely in the main building.

Our Fall Frenzy Family Night will be tomorrow, October 28, 2025 from 4:30-6:00. There will be NO launch tomorrow after school.
