Christmas Dress-Up Days
Congratulations to these 3rd graders who increased their Winter Aimsweb Math benchmark scores!
Happy Thanksgiving to our Steekee family. We are very grateful for you!
Please help your child to remember to wear Red/White/Blue Monday as we honor our Veterans.
Thank you for your help.
Twice each year, Adopt-A-Class, TN, sponsors a set of greeting cards (Christmas and Spring). Students from Steekee (and two other schools) submitted designs to be featured on one of the cards. This year, the designs of 4 Scouts were chosen to be included in the 2024 Christmas greeting card collection. The cards are professionally printed on high quality card stock and sold (as a fund raiser for the participating schools). Each box contains all 14 cards with self-sealing envelopes and sells for $15. All information is on the website: https://adoptaclasstn.org, and the student artists are shown with their framed prints on our Facebook page.
Don't forget that McEachern Photographers will be at Steekee on 10/23 (in the morning) to take individual student photos.
Check out the Halloween fun in Downtown Loudon - October 26th.
We're celebrating Halloween in style with a costume fashion show. Please join us October 31 @ 8:30 a.m. in the Steekee gym for a fang-tastic time. Students may wear their costumes to school, with their school clothes under their costume. Students will walk the orange and black carpet to model their costume, and then we'll have some Halloween fun. Students will be dismissed to their classrooms after the costume pageant to resume normal school activities. Your student's teacher will send out information regarding afternoon classroom parties. Join us!
Just a reminder: medications (prescription, over the counter, and including cough drops, eye drops, ear drops) must be brought into the school clinic and signed in with Nurse Claudia. Please do not send medications (prescription, over the counter - including cough drops, eye drops, ear drops) to school with your children. Also, if/when medications need to return home, they will need to be picked up and signed out by a parent with Nurse Claudia.
