We do not have a driver for Bus 4 Bus 9 driver has agreed to run Bus 4 route after their own route today & Friday (1/5) pm. That substitute Bus 4 route will head to schools to pick up Bus 4 students to go home. We estimate students will be about an hour later getting home.
Loudon County Schools will dismiss at 11:00 am Tuesday, Dec. 19, 2023. Buses will run regular routes, beginning at 11:00 am. If your child will be a car rider, please make arrangements so your child is picked up at 11:00 am. All students will be dismissed at 11:00 am.
Our some of our Steekee Ambassadors guided an Aspiring Admin through a tour of our beautiful school. The girls did a phenomenal job!

Special Information about our Veterans’ Day Program, Friday, November 10th.
I’m glad you are joining us and giving us the opportunity to celebrate you and thank you for the sacrifices you have made to keep us safe and protect our freedom.
First, please make sure you sign in with us at the gym.
The program begins at 9:00 a.m. in the gym
Our Veterans are invited to join us for breakfast at 8:30 a.m. in the Steekee School Library
We have reserved our Pre K Parking Lot for our Veterans. Veterans, please park in this lot and proceed directly to the library entrance for breakfast. (This is the parking lot which is to the right of the main building as you are standing on Steekee School Road looking at the main building). Staff will be positioned at the entrance to that parking lot to assist and guide your.
All other guests and visitors, please proceed directly to the gym.
At the end of the program, you will have the opportunity to take pictures with your children/grandchildren or special Scout friends.
Steekee Scouts are collecting new and gently used/clean winter coats to donate to Karm. If you or your children have coats you no longer wear, please consider donating them. The classroom that collects the most coats will win a pizza party!

Just a reminder: LAUNCH after school program is cancelled tomorrow, so teachers can conference with parents for 2nd 9 weeks progress reports. There will be no LAUNCH after school program, Tuesday, November 7. LAUNCH will resume Wednesday, November 8th.

Bus 20 is stopped on Vonore Rd. due to an overturned vehicle. Crews are working to clear the roadway so the bus can get through.
